Convert image-only/scanned PDFs into searchable PDFs by adding a hidden text layer. OCR runs in-browser using Tesseract.
What does OCR PDF do?
It reads the text in a scanned PDF and adds an invisible text layer, so you can search, select and copy the text. The pages look the same.
Which languages are supported?
English by default. Enter another Tesseract language code, such as fra, deu or spa, for other languages.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. OCR runs in your browser. The language data is downloaded once, but your PDF never leaves your device.
